Eligibility snapshot
| Education (all posts) | Qualifications must be from UGC-recognised Indian Universities / AICTE-approved Institutes or Boards only. Applicants with qualifications from other countries must submit an equivalency certificate from UGC / AIU. |

Selection process
Online applications are scrutinised on age, educational qualification, category certificate, fee receipt and other criteria. Only valid applicants are called for a written test and / or interview.

Scrutiny of online applications
Applications are checked against all criteria. Shortlisted candidates are listed on the IPR website; there is no separate communication to candidates not shortlisted.

Selection is solely based on performance in the interview. A written test may be held for screening purposes only, if required.

Selection is based on a written test and a computer skill test.

Final list and wait list
The selected list and a wait list in order of merit are published on the Institute's website / portal. The wait list stays valid for one year from the declaration of the final result.

Fee is payable through online mode only (SBI Collect). Candidates claiming fee exemption must submit the relevant certificate, failing which their candidature will not be considered. Fee once paid is not refunded under any circumstance and cannot be held in reserve for any other examination or selection process.

5. Select Payment Category: "Application fees-IPR"
6. Enter the required applicant details
7. In the Remarks field, mention the Advertisement No. and Post Code
8. Enter remitter details, accept the Terms & Conditions, enter the Captcha and click "Next"
9. Verify the payment details and complete the payment online
10. Download / print the SBI Collect receipt and keep it for the online application form
Good to know before you apply
Temporary posts All positions are purely temporary for a maximum of three (3) years. The engagement ceases automatically on expiry of the tenure, and candidates have no right or claim to any temporary or permanent appointment in the Institute during or after the project period.
Annual performance review Performance is reviewed at the end of each year. If it is not found satisfactory, the Institute may discontinue the appointment.
Place of work Selected candidates will work at the Institute for Plasma Research, Bhat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat or its laboratories at GIDC, Sector-25, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Medical scheme In addition to the remuneration, the Contributory Health Service Scheme (CHSS) facility (self only) is admissible. Deductions are made monthly from the salary as per IPR CHSS rules.
