Eligibility: Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in an appropriate field, OR B.Sc. or equivalent degree in an appropriate field

The selection committee may decide its own method of screening/shortlisting and of evaluating performance in the written test / trade test / interview.

Screening / shortlisting of applications
In case of a large number of applicants, RGNAU may shortlist as it considers appropriate. No reason for rejection is communicated, and minimum qualification alone does not entitle a candidate to be called.

Written test / trade test / interview
Shortlisted candidates must be physically present on the prescribed date(s) and time(s) with original certificates. No request to change the schedule is entertained. Call letters are sent by email only.

Good to know before you apply
Contract terms Purely contractual engagement, initially for one year, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years on yearly renewal subject to performance evaluation and requirement. No right to absorption, regularisation or seniority.
Consolidated pay only ₹60,000 per month consolidated. No other allowances are admissible. No DA, HRA, PF, Pension, Insurance, Gratuity, Seniority, Promotion, LTC, Medical claim, Education allowance etc. No TA/DA for joining.
Campus accommodation Subject to availability, suitable campus accommodation may be given as per RGNAU allotment rules, on payment of the prescribed licence fee / rent. Allotment is ad-hoc and co-terminus with the engagement.
Keep your documents ready Retain a hard-copy printout of the online application along with copies of certificates, educational qualifications, experience and other testimonials. These must be produced, with originals for age, qualification, experience and caste, at the written test / trade test / interview if shortlisted.
Who cannot apply Persons convicted by a court or facing pending criminal proceedings, persons who have contracted a marriage with a person having a living spouse (or while having a living spouse, subject to exemption by the Competent Authority), non-citizens of India, and any other category disqualified by Govt. of India/UGC.
Medical fitness Selected candidates must produce a medical fitness certificate from a medical board specified by the University. PwD (Divyang) candidates are excepted from the physical defect condition.

No data, statistics or information collected during the assignment may be disclosed to a third party, even after termination, without written consent of the University.
The engaged person must sign an undertaking at the time of engagement.
The engaged person must not engage in any business or professional activity that conflicts with the assignment, or give advice adverse to the University's interest.
Terms and conditions are communicated in an 'offer of engagement'. If not accepted within the stipulated time, the offer is treated as withdrawn.
The engagement is liable to termination if the candidate is later found ineligible or to have given false information.
